You must have heard something about the United States Capitol in Washington DC at the eastern end of the National Mall. Of course the Capitol is very well known across the whole world. The great building has five storeys in all and is 750x230 meters long and 350x105 meters wide. There are almost 540-odd rooms in it. You can also find a huge domed room in the center of the building. All kinds of great amenities and works are provided here for the travelers and visitors.
In the last decade of the 18th century, the United States Capitol began its construction and it has gone through a lot of renovation, rebuilding, restoration and expansion since then. During the 1812 war it was partly burned. And the 1819 year witnessed its success of reconstruction.
